The State netball and Hockey Centre played host this December to the ABN AMRO Hockey Champions Trophy. The weather was hot and the pace of play was scintillating as the world’s best took to the field. Located just minutes from the CBD, the State Netball and Hockey Centre was in pristine condition, looking equally impressive as the level play on the field . The Kookaburras clinched the 2009 ABN AMRO Hockey Champions Trophy title in stunning fashion beating Germany 5-3 in front of a packed crowd becoming the champions for the second year in a row.
