Quayclean 2009 marked another successful year for Quayclean as we partnered with Sydney Olympic Park Authority (SOPA) and with Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (SOPAC).

Sydney Olympic Park Precinct contains over 650 hectares of common space, parks, gardens and world renowned sports facilities. The precinct played host to a number of world class sporting events including the 2009 NRL Grand Final, the recent V8 Supercars championships and to World Boxing Champion Danny Green who fought at the precinct in a recent bout. During this year’s NRL Grand Final, Quayclean was tasked with the cleanup of the entire domain area located in the SOPA precinct.

A Herculean feat considering the 80,000 strong crowd. By all accounts, the event was a success and Quayclean extends a warm congratulation to the Storm for yet another deserved win. Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre also presented its own set of challenges as it played host to a number of national and world events, including the 2009 World Masters Games.
